The Vör (based on the norse goddess of wisdom) is a newsletter with the mission of connecting women with information about work, money, and mindset.
Rooted in the belief that knowledge closes gaps and provides opportunity, the business delivers a weekly dose of useful resources, ideas and insights, that boost women's confidence in and outside the workplace.
We created a confident brand identity that rebels against common stereotypes and presents a different version of womanhood: proud, vibrant and adamant for change. The design system draws inspiration from a range of familiar tropes, but used in an unexpected manner, be it punchy copywriting, stylised protest-like typography or the newspaper illustrations. The presentation website presents the mission, the topics in a succinct and interactive way, having the aim to easily allow users to sign-up to the mailing list. The newsletter was designed with scale in mind — a modular and easy way to share relevant knowledge to the members of the business.
